Provided that other things being equal, preference shall be given to those who have undergone one year Apprenticeship Training with the prescribed qualification under the erstwhile TNEB/ TANGEDCO/ TANTRANSCO.
NOTE: -
i. The candidates having either Diploma or ITI NTC certificate as the case may be as on date of notification alone eligible to apply for the above post.
ii.The qualification prescribed for the post mentioned above in the Notification must have passed the required qualification in the order of studies i.e. (10 + 3 or 10 + 2 + 2 or10 +2) as the case may be from any university or Institution, recognized by the University Grants commission or any of the Universities recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Knowledge of Tamil:-
Candidates should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil on the date of this Notification.
Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be minimum of 18 years and should not have completed 30 years as on 01st January 2015. Age relaxation is applicable as per Tamil Nadu Government rules.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected based on the performance of written examination and Personal interview.

Exam/Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Application fee Rs.500/- for General Candidates and Rs.250/- SC/ST/PWD candidates.

- All the wrong answers shall be taken into consideration for awarding negative marks. Multiple shading will be considered as wrong answer and 1/3 mark will be reduced.
- Candidates required to marks obtained in the competitive written examination to be worked out for eighty five percent (85%). Those candidates who have successfully qualify the written exam they will call for personal interview for 15 Marks. Final selection of this requirement notification will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance written exam and personal interview.
